Participant population: Adults considered by the ICU clinical team likely to remain intubated and ventilated for >48 hours, with a diagnosis of one or a combination of - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Left and/or right ventricular heart failure - Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) - Pneumonia including COVID-19 - Acute Kidney Injury (AKI).
