Monitoring of QTc interval is a key safety metric measured during the initiation of antipsychotic medications however it can be a problematic metric to obtain as removal of some clothing is required for a conventional 12-lead ECG and this can prove a barrier for some patients. In this project, the team will carry out an analytical performance evaluation of a simple 6-lead ECG (Alivecor) together with new FDA/CE/UKCA approved cloud-based software for the measurement of QTc. Comparison will be made with conventional 12-lead ECG where patients present for this standard assessment.
