ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition associated with symptoms of inattentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Adolescence can be a challenging period for young people with ADHD, with major life transitions, new demands, and increased expectations. In the current study, we investigate the transition into adulthood for young people with ADHD using remote monitoring technology (RMT). We study the changes that take place and what predicts these changes. Using the ADHD Remote Technology (ART) system we have developed, we will remotely monitor transition-age young people with ADHD continuously for 24 months with an Active App for questionnaires and a Passive App and Fitbit smartwatch to track behaviours such as physical activity, sleep, and social interaction.
