This is an observational, point prevalence study that will describe practice at four pre-specified time points (5 days each). All 27 NHS PICUs in the UK will be invited to take part in the study. Children aged 0-18 years receiving mucoactive medications will be recruited. Local collaborators at each PICU will collect the data. Data will include details about the types of medications used, the amount, and how they are given to the patient. Basic characteristics of the patients will also be collected. Routinely collected data will be used and patients will not be identifiable.
