Children with cerebral palsy frequently experience sleep disturbances such as insomnia and sleep fragmentation, which can significantly impact their overall health and quality of life. The current systematic review aims to identify effective and safe pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for managing insomnia and sleep fragmentation in children with cerebral palsy. We will include randomised controlled trials involving children with cerebral palsy, aged 0–18 years, assessing sleep quality outcomes and adverse events. Data will be synthesised using network or pairwise meta-analyses or a narrative synthesis where applicable. We will evaluate the certainty of evidence using CINeMA and GRADE approaches and assess cost-effectiveness through a parallel review of health economic evaluations. Our findings will inform clinical practice and policy, addressing a critical gap in managing sleep disturbances in children with cerebral palsy.
