As a Lead Author for the AR7 finance chapter, I will contribute to assessing the scientific, technical, socio-economic, and financial aspects of climate-change mitigation. My work will include: • Leading the drafting of sections on the finance chapter; • Coordinating with other chapters and cross-cutting teams on issues such as equity, risk, system transitions, and adaptation-mitigation interactions; • Responding to expert and government review comments and ensuring scientific accuracy and policy relevance; • Participating in virtual drafting sessions throughout the assessment cycle. According to the Terms of Reference, Lead Authors are required to attend up to four in-person Lead Author Meetings between 2025 and 2027/2028. These meetings are essential to coordinated drafting, cross-chapter alignment, and resolution of methodological issues, and are therefore necessary for fulfilling my responsibilities. I am thus requesting support for inperson Lead Author Meetings
