The goal is to make the assessment process more precise, so the company can identify vulnerabilities in its network of suppliers and respond faster when an incident occurs. If the work succeeds, the immediate impact will be inside Airbus: more secure communications between the company and its partners, and a supply chain that can withstand cyberattacks without grinding to a halt. That matters because modern aircraft depend on thousands of components from hundreds of suppliers—a breach at any one link can ripple outward. The public rarely sees those connections, but they keep planes flying and data safe. This project does not aim for a consumer-facing product; it strengthens the industrial backbone that makes air travel and communications possible.
