The SeaThrive projects have two main pillars. The first pillar is directly helping projects through training and one-to-one advisory services. We have four clusters that have this as their main business model: Pôle Mer Méditerranée (FR), Maritime Cleantech (NO), Maritimes Technology Cluster FVG (IT), and Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland (DE). They have a combined more than one thousand members within the maritime sector and have already helped many of their members to develop large EU-funded alternative fuel projects, making a strong platform a coordination of efforts through this CSA. The second pillar financial analytics tools. Several of the leading developers of financial analytics tools are a part of the consortium, including Maersk Mc-Kinney Moeller Centre for Zero Carbon Shipping and Lloyd’s Register. They are joined by leading research institutions National Technical University of Athens, Teknologian Tutkimuskeskus VTT and the Danish Technical University, as well as two innovative SMEs, and develop a common financial analytics tool. The tool is used in the training and project support efforts organised by the clusters, and helps the projects we assist better understand their CAPEX, OPEX, revenue (through calculating the compliance cost), as well as impact on ship operations. In addition to the project support within the project, we also will launch the tool through a living lab and feed results back into the tools marketed by projects partners (e.g. the fuel calculator and other tools from the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moeller Centre for Zero Carbon Shipping).
