By leveraging and expanding the foundational work carried out by the Travel Wise, TAM, IMHOTEP, and MultiModX projects, the overall goal of ARCADE is to develop a coherent set of information systems and decision support tools that enable information sharing, common situational awareness, and collaborative decision-making between airports and surface transport stakeholders, with the aim of increasing the predictability of ATM operations, improving airport resources management, supporting disruption and crisis management at both airport and network level, and enhancing passenger experience. The project will develop two Solutions, Solution A: Integrated Multimodal Performance Cockpit and Proactive Disruption Management and Solution B: Multimodal Network Crisis Management, which will be flexible enough to be adopted by different types of airports (e.g., CDM and non-CDM airports) in a variety of operational environments (e.g., different levels of data availability).
