The Neuroscience Capacity Accelerator for Mental Health seeks to strengthen global neuroscience research capacity on anxiety, depression and psychosis by supporting high potential, LMIC-led projects. Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, NCAMH 2.0 will fund a minimum of 20 innovative, collaborative research projects over two nine-month periods, with grants of up to £50,000. NCAMH 2.0 will strive to address systemic barriers to mental health research in low-resource settings, promote equitable collaboration, and integrate LE perspectives into scientific discovery. Projects will emphasize culturally relevant, regionally impactful approaches while contributing to global advancements in mental health neuroscience. The program will also provide grantees with professional development opportunities to strengthen research skills and ensure sustainability.
