Wellcome Mental Health Data Prize 2.0

The Wellcome Mental Health Data Prize 2.0 will provide grant funding and a comprehensive support programme to a cohort of interdisciplinary teams to unlock innovative digital tool development for mental health research. Key goals include: \- Cultivating interdisciplinary collaborations of researchers, data experts, technologists, lived experience experts and practitioners, contributing to a thriving mental health science community; \- Supporting the development of impactful digital tools with potential to scale; \- Inspiring use of existing mental health datasets to drive insight and action around early intervention; \- Strengthening the skills of Prize teams; \- Integrating lived experience throughout design and development to shape decision-making at both programme and team level. The Prize will be structured around two key phases: 1\. Prototyping Phase (9 months): supporting 6 teams to develop and test prototypes of their digital tool concepts; 2\. Sustainability Phase (9 months): supporting 3 teams to build out their digital tools and develop a robust roadmap for sustainability. As delivery partner, Social Finance will administer and monitor grant awards to participating teams.
