The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Queen Mary University of London (http://www.qmul.ac.uk/about/se/) typically awards 35-40 fully or half funded PhD students each year, a number of which are supported through our EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (9 of the faculty's studentships were supported by the EPSRC DTP in 2017). All studentships are allocated to individual research projects in its academic Schools and Institutes and these cover a wide range of research disciplines including: astronomy, bioengineering, biological science, chemistry, computer science, electronic engineering, engineering, materials science, mathematics, psychology and physics.
